Infosys Recruitment Process for 2011 Pass Outs

As per the topic discussed already it is suggested to all the JKC registered 2011 pass out candidates to take up two assessment test to make themselves eligible for the recruitment process.
The first test will be held in the time slot of 23rd Dec 2010 to 1st Jan 2011. The candidates have to take up this test with in the said duration or else they will be disqualified.
In this regard the first assessment is going to be conducted with in the campus on Tuesday, 28th of Dec.

Note: Qualifying in assessment doesn't mean any qualification in written test for Infosys.

Placement Drive conducted in campus

I'm very much glad to be a part of this first time ever direct recruitment drive conducted in campus on Thursday the 23rd of December 2010.

Hosted by TPO my self along with Principal and HODs, a well known marine company hailed from Gujrat M/s OMEGA MARITIME MANAGEMENT SERVICES PVT. LTD. in the requirement for Merchant Navy on the ships was our guest of honor for this drive.
Mr. Sunil John and Mr.Bhoumik the managers of the above said organization conducted the written test followed by Interviews. The male students of all the branches were eligible for the exam.
The following 13 students were selected for Medical tests.

They will  later on go for on-ship training (along with MBA) for a duration of 18 months paid with a stipend of Rs15000/- per month and then they will be sent to Australia for 6months pre-deck training and to acquire a License issued by Govt of Australia.
On completion of training they will be placed as Second Grade Officer on deck with salary of Rs 2,00,000 to Rs 2,50,000 per month, who further can get promoted to the high grade officer, CAPTAIN OF THE SHIP.

I would like to thank the delegates for organising such an drive in our college and Prinicipal and HODs for their cooperation with which it was difficult to get on the day for me.

        JKC is planning to organize a recruitment event with Broadridge for the JKC 2010 pass outs on 28th December 2010 at Hyderabad. The eligibility criteria, selection process and the salary details are as given below.
        The eligible candidates who are interested to participate in the process can confirm their participation through the following link. Candidates who confirm their participation would get the call letter along with schedule and venue details on 25th December 2010.

Job Description:
            He or she will be required to attend the necessary training and has to get qualified in certification process, will then be deployed into project for SAP Support service. He/ She have to solve the technical issues with the help of development team, get it confirmed with client and see that the ticket raised is closed successfully and the same thing kept in documentation by the candidate only.
Requirement from candidate:

            Candidate should be willing to make a security deposit of 2lacs which is refundable upon successful completion of bond. In certain cases if candidate is found talented and passing the scale of judgement his/her security deposit will be returned even before the bond period. Security Deposit is Mandatory along with Bond and Certificates.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates of the institutions which are established in the year 2005 or before are eligible
  • Candidate should have 60% or more in class 10th, 60% or more in Intermediate / Diploma and 68% or more in B. Tech / Degree (for MCAs they should have 68% or more in MCA)
  •  All the eligible candidates are supposed to appear for 2 online assessment tests by 10th January 2011 which would be conducted by JKC
  •  Only the candidates who are eligible as per the mentioned eligibility criteria and who appear for the 2 online assessment tests are allowed to participate in the recruitment events
  •  A mail will be sent to all the JKC registered students with the instructions to take these online assessments soon
Recruitment Schedule:
  •  JKC is planning to schedule the Infosys recruitment events for 2011 pass outs from 3rd Week of January 2011, confirmed schedules would be communicated soon
  •  For each recruitment event the eligible candidates of that region would be mapped and hall tickets would be sent to their respective colleges as well to the candidates

Instructions for eligible candidates:
  •  All the eligible candidates are here by instructed to appear for 2 online assessment tests
  •  Candidates are requested to prepare according to the recruitment pattern of Infosys
  •  Candidates are requested to prepare well on arithmetic, aptitude, verbal, reasoning and particularly the reading comprehension. It was observed that most of the candidates are disqualified in the written test due to their non performance in with English and reading comprehension.
  •  So the candidates are advised to more exercise on reading comprehensions
  •  Candidates are advised to assess their performance based on their scores in the online assessments conducted by JKC and work on their weak areas
